Trustees appoint Principal Designate for new flagship London Dock school in Wapping

The Mulberry Schools Trust is delighted to announce that, following a rigorous and robust selection process, its Trustees have appointed Chris Harvey as the Principal Designate of Mulberry Academy London Dock.

Chris is currently a senior leader within the Mulberry Schools Trust. He previously served as Deputy Headteacher of Mulberry School for Girls, before moving into his current role as Vice Principal of Mulberry UTC. Chris’ commitment to outstanding achievement for all students shines through in his inspiring and inclusive approach. He is an exceptional senior leader who will be a great Principal for Mulberry Academy London Dock.

Starting in April 2024, Chris will work closely alongside Dr Vanessa Ogden, CEO of the Mulberry Schools Trust and Paramjit Bhutta, Executive Headteacher of Mulberry Academy London Dock and Mulberry Stepney Green Maths, Computing, and Science College. Together, they will assemble a talented team of staff, finalise curriculum planning, manage student admissions and ensure the stunning new building is fully equipped for its inaugural Year 7 students who will arrive in September.
