We feel it is important that our students have opportunities that will enable them to have a well-rounded experience of sixth form life and Develop their cultural capital.

Our enrichment programme offers a wide range of activities from sports, mentoring, business insight days and overseas trips. Our extensive programme is designed to allow our students to access unique opportunities to develop their professionalism, explore their interests, support their wellbeing and have fun with their friends and peers.

Why is enrichment important?

Taking part in enrichment allows students to build on their academic careers and set themselves apart from the competition when applying for universities, jobs and apprenticeships. Students are encouraged to take part in at least 2 enrichment sessions per year and reflect on their experiences using our Unifrog platform.

When does Enrichment take place?

Every Wednesday afternoon between 2.00pm – 3.30pm. Enrichment is compulsory for all students and counts towards overall College attendance. During this time inter sixth form, competitions are held.

What is on offer?

Our enrichment opportunities are continuously evolving with more opportunities added every year. Some of our most popular activities include.

  1. Law Mentoring and work experience with law firm Clyde &Co.

Sixth Form Leadership Team

We have an elected Sixth Form Leadership team made up of Prefects, Vice President and President who are proactive in improving the experience of sixth form life. They take feedback from their peers on how the 6th form could be improved and take these suggestions to the Head

Teacher to negotiate changes. They are also very active in hosting charity events and awareness days such as: Children in Need, Christmas Jumper Day for Save the Children, Mental Health Awareness Day and many more.
