The mixed Year 7 and 8 basketball team delivered an impressive performance throughout the competition, showing determination and teamwork in every match. Despite facing opponents with a clear height and size advantage, the team relied on speed, skill, and communication to stay competitive. Over the course of six games, they demonstrated consistent effort and resilience, winning the majority of their matches. Their quick passing and sharp defense allowed them to overcome physically stronger teams. Each player contributed to the team’s success, showing great understanding of the game.

In several matches, they built strong leads through disciplined play and clever tactics. Their ability to stay focused under pressure was evident, especially in close games. The final match was a thrilling contest, with the team leading for most of the game. Unfortunately, their opponents managed to score in the last minute, turning the game around. Although they narrowly lost in the final, the team proudly took home silver medals, reflecting their outstanding performance and hard work throughout the competition.
