Mulberry STEM Scholars Visit Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 Factory 🏎️
Our STEM Academy Scholars travelled to the Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula One Team factory in Brackley for an exciting one-week residential work experience programme alongside students from across the Mulberry Schools Trust.
Throughout the week, students developed their knowledge and practical skills by working across a variety of departments involved in the design and performance of Formula 1 cars, including electrics, mechanics, composites and ICT. Students were able to experience first-hand the teamwork, innovation and precision required within one of the world’s leading motorsport organisations.
The programme also provided students with the privilege of meeting industry professionals and well-known figures from the world of Formula 1, including Mercedes F1 CEO Toto Wolff. These opportunities gave students valuable insight into future careers within STEM and motorsport industries.
As part of the residential experience, students stayed together for the week, enjoying shared meals, social activities and networking opportunities with both Mercedes staff and students from across the Trust.
We are incredibly proud of all students involved for the professionalism, enthusiasm and commitment they demonstrated throughout the week. A huge thank you to all staff and organisers who helped make the residential such a memorable and successful experience.
